2pm, July 9th, Stadium MERDEKA: Malaysia’s moment of truth

Malaysians from all walks of life have travelled a very long road to reach this defining point in our nation’s history. With less than 24 hours to our intended peaceful gathering, our resolve to walk the last, most difficult mile as one united people in pursuit of clean and fair elections and a better Malaysia for all is firmer than ever.

Our reason for gathering is pure and simple – to demand the electoral roll be cleaned, that the postal voting system be reformed, that indelible ink be used, a minimum 21 day campaign period be instated, free and fair access to media for all be provided, public institutions be strengthened, and for corruption as well as dirty politics to be stopped.

The authorities have put obstacle after obstacle where they only needed to provide sincere cooperation to win the trust and confidence of the people. Having faced half hearted offers of stadiums, arrogance regarding meetings as well as denials of permits, arrests, detentions and so much more, we feel that we have done all that is humanly possible to demonstrate sincerity and good faith in dealing with the government – but we have only been met with reversed decisions and stone walls.

There are no walls however, that will arrest the advance of the cause of peace and justice. Come the 9th of July, we will uphold our constitutional right to converge peacefully on Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur.

No government agency has any right whatsoever to prevent Malaysians from exercising their freedom of movement and access to our capital city. No threat or intimidation can overturn this fundamental truth.

Malaysians have now seen for themselves the degree of paranoia and lack of principled leadership that seems to have gripped the government. It is thus all the more imperative that patriotic Malaysians rise now and take this stand together to save Malaysia from slipping further into this insane darkness.

Since the beginning of Bersih 2.0, we have witnessed nothing but the utmost bravery and commitment to peace and justice demonstrated by ordinary Malaysians from every walk of life. Inspired by this example, the Bersih 2.0 leadership reiterates our own unyielding commitment to our shared cause, and to being at Stadium Merdeka at 2pm tomorrow. We will meet at the carpark, and trust that the doors will be opened for us.

This is Malaysia’s single most important defining moment in recent history, and we are fully confident that the rakyat will heed the call to safeguard the principles Malaysia was founded on and together ensure that we pass down to our children a nation that is just, democratic and united in love for one another.

709 BERSIH 2.0  Are you ready?

Bersih’s calls are summarised in the following 8 points:

1. Clean the electoral roll

The electoral roll is marred with irregularities such as deceased persons and multiple persons registered under a single address or non-existent addresses. The electoral roll must be revised and updated to wipe out these ‘phantom voters’. The rakyat have a right to an electoral roll that is an accurate reflection of the voting population.

In the longer term, BERSIH 2.0 also calls for the EC to implement an automated voter registration system upon eligibility to reduce irregularities.

2. Reform postal ballot

The current postal ballot system must be reformed to ensure that all citizens of Malaysia are able to exercise their right to vote. Postal ballot should not only be open for all Malaysian citizens living abroad, but also for those within the country who cannot be physically present in their voting constituency on polling day. Police, military and civil servants too must vote normally like other voters if not on duty on polling day.

The postal ballot system must be transparent. Party agents should be allowed to monitor the entire process of postal voting.

3. Use of indelible ink

Indelible ink must be used in all elections. It is a simple, affordable and effective solution in preventing voter fraud. In 2007, the EC decided to implement the use of indelible ink. However, in the final days leading up to the 12th General Elections, the EC decided to withdraw the use of indelible ink citing legal reasons and rumours of sabotage.

BERSIH 2.0 demands for indelible ink to be used for all the upcoming elections. Failure to do so will lead to the inevitable conclusion that there is an intention to allow voter fraud.

4. Minimum 21 days campaign period

The EC should stipulate a campaign period of not less than 21 days. A longer campaign period would allow voters more time to gather information and deliberate on their choices. It will also allow candidates more time to disseminate information to rural areas. The first national elections in 1955 under the British Colonial Government had a campaign period of 42 days but the campaign period for 12th GE in 2008 was a mere 8 days.

5. Free and fair access to media

It is no secret that the Malaysian mainstream media fails to practice proportionate, fair and objective reporting for political parties of all divide. BERSIH 2.0 calls on the EC to press for all media agencies, especially state-funded media agencies such as Radio and Television Malaysia (RTM) and Bernama to allocate proportionate and objective coverage for all potlical parties.

6. Strengthen public institutions

Public institutions must act independently and impartially in upholding the rule of law and democracy. Public institutions such as the Judiciary, Attorney-General, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency (MACC), Police and the EC must be reformed to act independently, uphold laws and protect human rights.

In particular, the EC must perform its constitutional duty to act independently and impartially so as to enjoy public confidence. The EC cannot continue to claim that they have no power to act, as the law provides for sufficient powers to institute a credible electoral system.

7. Stop corruption

Corruption is a disease that has infected every aspect of Malaysian life. BERSIH 2.0 and the rakyat demand for an end to all forms of corruption. Current efforts to eradicate corruption are mere tokens to appease public grouses. We demand that serious action is taken against ALL allegations of corruption, including vote buying.

8. Stop dirty politics

Malaysians are tired of dirty politics that has been the main feature of the Malaysian political arena. We demand for all political parties and politicians to put an end to gutter politics. As citizens and voters, we are not interested in gutter politics; we are interested in policies that affect the nation.

House Painting Day ! 

Hey guys. Today was extremely hot! I feeling like i'm inside a microwave. Check on the temperature meter . WTF! It shown 33.7* Celcius. God, are you deep frying us alive? 

Morning - Went to Old Barber Shop for cleaning my ears. Old uncle able to clean my ears easily. Just took 20 minutes. He made me surprised..he found a small piece of cotton inside my right ear. WOW! When i put a cotton inside my ear? Is that that that bloodyyyy cotton flied into my ear when i was sleeping?! Shitttt . Feel comfortable after cleaning. I can hear very clearly, back to normal. Cost me $RM 9. Cheap service but valuable. Thanks, Old Uncle!

Afternoon - Went back home. I got bored so bought all painting tools and materials. Wanted to paint the dull, dirty and rusty area in my house. Planning to paint outside of my house using two days.

Hey guys ! Time to update my blog. Trying to make it fresh at all the time. No more rotting right now, i think! Yes, i'm trying. okay?

Okay. What i want to share with you all guys here is.. about .. MY PAIR OF EARS!

My pair of ears are ordinary. Nothing special. But a problem occurred .. I got poor hearing since last week went to Sunway Lost World Water themepark with Darling they all. I can give a conclusion for my ears. It got stuck by dirty wet substances. Arhhh .

Then, I told mummy. Mummy said i should to go to old Chinese/Indian barber shop. She brought me to there after that. Okay. Listen to what she suggested! Let's go...

Went there. I was observing them at there.. 

WHAT? some old..OLD Chinese Uncles cutting hair? Saw their hands shaking when cutting their customer hairs. OMG! I felt so scared.. because next was me after finish cutting that customer. Is he got Parkinson disease? Hand shakingggg weiii . 

(Wtffff . he's coming to handle my ears) .. MUMMY where're you now? 

Mummy said i no need to be scared. They're so professional in this field with decades of experience! They got the tools to clean your ears. (Soon soon..please don't so ah guaa . You can stand the pain!) She added!

(How dare you.. saying me is ah gua! Okay. Just see.) - Me !

Old uncle took a long sharp iron rod and put into my ears. I was felt that he's drilling my ears with it. After a couple of minutes, he told me he gave up. Because those dirty substances inside my ears are so hard as stone. Hard to remove. Needed to soften it before remove. 

Old uncle: PLEASE COME BACK AGAIN, KAWAN !

(I will be back.. you wait, old man!)

So bought this Soluwax ear drops at pharmacy. I was using it and follow the directions..

With the head tilted, fill my ears with 10 ear drops for a night. Remain in this position for 9-10 minutes. This solution penetrates into thick wax to soften and facilitates easy removal of ear wax! LOL. 

So tomorrow will go back there again !  Wait me, old man ! 

DARLING ! I want to chat with you . I so miss you ! Today i'm having a bad mood.

Hello guys. I'm back to my blog! I knew my blog was rotting again. Sorry bout this. This recently i'm really really reallllyy so busy. Can't take some time to update plus my brain was blanked... And also now i can see that my English writing is totally sucks with hopeless vocabulary! Arrrhh . Goddamn. My English is downgrading. I should stop using broken English to chat my friends. Regretting*

So.. My 2months holiday is going to end. I remain one week holiday. How to spend it before i go back to Malacca? OMG. I almost forgotten that i still haven't settle my Motor B2 test yet. I must get the license before i start a new bloody semester!! Shitt . 


(Don't worry, Kent. Just settle it on next week!) Talk to myself! Am i crazy?


What i did? How did i spent my time during my holiday? . . . Easy. I'm having homie sick! Always stay at home. Playing Football Manager, higher up my reputation in football business. and sometime was hanging out with friends. Likeeee.. last week was a most excited week i had. Took part in Ipoh Starwalk competition with Kenny Cheong, got 384th and chased by stranger girls. 

The next day, daddy mummy gone to Bangkok Thailand. So darling and her friends Beng Keong and Huey Ching visited to my place. Brought them to eat and play, become their 4days 3nights Ipoh cash-free tour leader and DRIVER also. Got nothing but Had some great moments with them at Sunway Lost World Water theme park. Delighted! Wanna replay the time now !

Time was passed so fast. Tic toc tic toccc, time machine is most wanted. Why no one invents it? It's very useful to everybody. Rewind back or fast forward the time! If i has it, i would rewind back to Em1. Become an outstanding student..NO! Should be.. Genius is return to primary school. (Impossible..) or or or .. might be like the movie Zac Efron back to his age of 17. I drive my baby Civic back to school, parking beside the school principal's car, wearing modified G2000 school uniform, showing international finger to discipline teacher and some assholes!? Oh yesss . become back my lovely position of Head monitor. Hmm..can i get my slim body with active joints? I wanna take part all sports. Wait wait wait. SPM!? Sijil Pengajian Malaysia ! I sit for that exam again? Oh no . I think i can handle it because i had experienced it before. I should bring my SPM exam question papers back to the past. Wooohooo ! 11A , that's not the problem for me . HAHA

(Hey, i need someone to knock my head or slap my face!) WAKEEE ME UP! 
Just a dream. It's impossible. I know it won't happen! Urghhh ..

1st July - Seventy four days 
We've been together for 74 days ! 我们已经在一起有70天了! Do you know that?
We've made a lot of sweet memories. I hope we can maintain like this..

Actually mummy really don't like me to get a relationship with her. She just want me to concentrate on studies. Plus she worried those girls targeting me..scare will hurting me. Because they are always cheaters, fakers, money lovers, material-control lovers..in mummy's mind. I believe her is not the one of them (cheaters, fakers, money lovers, material-control lovers..), she won't hurt me, she won't lie me..she is true lover. I know that, that's why i love her. Love you so much! She's always the greatest one in my heart, the perfect one in my mind! 


Please don't leave me. alright? Be mine most loved, the first and last one.


I'm still worry. Worry that she may change the feel towards to me in anytime! Because we are having a LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP! I'm studying in Malacca..and she staying in Kedah or maybe moving to study in University of Sabah. She says things won't change but I'm scared we'll end up breaking up.
